We met the students of Hopi Junior Senior High School in Keams Canyon, Arizona, on Monday and were so excited to see the ground they’re breaking in their award-winning journalism program led by Stan Bindell!

In addition to a print newspaper and a video program, the students have a Native American teen radio show on KUYI 88.1. Wow!

We’d also like to take a moment to thank Frank LoMonte, executive director of the Student Press Law Center, for traveling with Tinker Tour over the last week. What an honor to be accompanied by someone who advocates so strongly for students. Thanks, Frank!
