Nina Gomez, staff writer, with her article about a student who overcame addiction

Redondo High School journalists, just south of Los Angeles, have learned a few things about the role of the news from their award-winning adviser, Mitch Ziegler.  Their paper, the High Tide (also award-winning), covers issues that are not only entertaining and interesting, but of importance to the well-being and health of students.  Issues like drug addiction and self concept  are not censored, but covered and discussed.  The result is something to be proud of.   Thanks for welcoming the Tinker Tour, Redondo Beach HS, and thanks for keeping the free press alive!
