We hit the halfway point on the fall Tinker Tour this week as we bid a temporary farewell to predictions of snow and headed for points South.

- Gloria Olman, friend of student press rights. When her student, Katy Dean, wrote an article about a lawsuit against the school district claiming diesel bus pollution, her school tried to censor it. Gloria and Katy stood up for quality journalism, and with help from the SPLC, won. We feature this in the Tinker Tour “First Amendment” coloring book.
